Foods That I Just Don't Like

I was inspired to document a list of the foods that I don't like. I was thinking about how my tastes have changed over the years, new likes and dislikes developed. I think we're all like that. So, I thought that this would be a fun post...


Used to Hate, but Now Adore:
- BBQ sauce
- Sour Cream
- Medium-rare Steak
- Jelly/Jam
- Stouts/Porters

Used to Like, but Now Hate:
- Sun-dried Tomatoes
- Roasted Red Peppers
- Chicken Breasts
- Rosemary
- Sweet White Wine

Used to Hate, Still Hate:
- Mayonnaise
- Soda
- Tonic Water
- Runny Egg Whites


What foods or beverages make your list?

  1. Raw mushrooms!! And honeydew. And artificial sweeteners. Smoked salmon. I call it my Yuck List. :)

    Seafood (yeah yeah I know, blasphemy!)
    Celery in my food (love it by itself)
    Water chestnuts
    Runny eggs

    What I used to hate but I now love:
    Black olives
    Red wines
    Porters
    My mom's meatloaf
    Bananas

  3. Ahhhh yeees, I used to HATE olives but now love them. I also HATE cooked celery, but am fine with raw celery.

  4. This is fun and I'm probably going to steal it with credit of course! My palate has changed slightly but most of my don't likes remain.

    I thought Crystal liked all food. Shocked! LOL
